The Watcher

Digital painting using Painter IX. Figure reference for this picture is from a photo I took of Sakara-Siluria. The working drawing I produced for this painting can be seen in scraps. I use that as a transparent template to paint under. When I have blocked in enough colour to see what is going on, I remove the template and put in the fine details. Working over the picture several times until I am happy with the result.
