I am an Artist/Illustrator who over the years has produced art that has appeared on books, cards, window transparencies, t-shirts, coasters and wall plaques. I have specialised in producing Celtic Art and pen and ink work using a combination of technical pens and steel dip pens. Over the years, I have supplied art to over 35 books. The level of contribution has varied from small black and white illustrations to creating the whole book myself.



I now concentrate my work on figurative fantasy paintings. It has been a natural progression for me. I am self taught as an artist. Picking things up as I go along in life. My influences go back many years starting from my formative years of riding motorbikes and going to festivals. At that time I custom painted motorbike petrol tanks. Using airbrushes and masks, set me up for the way I work in Photoshop.



My formal education is a degree in Electronic Engineering. When I started assembling components on circuit boards so that they colour matched should have been a give away that I might have been studying the wrong subject. Though it has made the progression to working with computers as a means of creating art easier. It is pleasing when people see the prints that I produce at shows and ask if it is oil or acrylic that I work in. Meaning they have not realised that it is a digital painting. For me the medium should be irrelevant, it is the final image that counts. I look forward to seeing the paintings I have yet to produce.
