Felicity - I

I first met Felicity when we were both working at events down in Cornwall and happened to be staying at the same B&B. We got chatting and realised we had similar art influences and wanted to work together on some pictures. Many months later it finally came together. This is the first. It was taken in a church yard in Lewes in Sussex where many years ago I used to live. It is a church I walked past on my way to the train station. Little knowing I would return. It is now an arts centre and has a space where Felicity rehearses her aerial acrobatic routines. Which will come into paintings at a later date. This time we were looking for good external locations for a couple of painting references. Which I got and with a fair wind the paintings should be appearing later in the year. For now, I am putting this picture out as I am very pleased with it simply as a photo.
